Editorial standards and corrections

Our editorial standards are simple. We publish general information about Queensland personal injury law firms and claims. Every legal rule links to the official source with the date we checked it, every firm fact comes from a public record or the firm’s own published terms, and no firm can pay to change what we say.

Who writes and checks our content

Content is written and fact-checked by Marshall Fenech, Editor. When a Queensland-admitted lawyer reviews a page, the page says so with their name and the review date. Pages without that note have not had legal review.

Our rules

  • Every legal figure (deadline, cap, penalty) links to its official source and shows the date checked.
  • Firm facts are the same on every page because they come from one profile.
  • We say “not confirmed” instead of guessing.
  • We do not give legal advice, promise outcomes or encourage anyone to make a claim.
  • We do not take referral fees, lead fees or paid placements.

Queensland rules that apply to us

Queensland bans paying or receiving money for personal injury claim referrals and approaching people to make claims (Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 ss 71, 71B). It also restricts advertising of personal injury services (s 66). Our directory publishes factual information about firms, maintained independently of them.

Corrections and updates

Report an error through the form on our corrections page. We check the source, fix confirmed errors, normally within 5 business days, and update the “Last reviewed” or “Facts checked” date. Significant changes to a guide are noted at the end of the page.
